Release Mates is dedicated to supporting people as they transition from prison back into the community. We understand that the immediate post-release period is critical in determining whether someone reintegrates successfully, risks reoffending, or exasperates existing vulnerabilities.
Our Approach
Our approach is based on direct intervention, emotional support, and the empowerment of both the people we serve and those who deliver the service. Release Mates is a lifeline for those leaving custody, providing a holistic, human-centred approach that can contribute to addressing the immediate and long-term challenges of reintegration.
